Galveston Rugby has cooked thousands of pounds of BBQ for Galveston Island Beach Patrol’s annual fundraiser. It is a great community event that happened for many years. Covid has affected everyone in many ways, and we plan to help the fundraiser make a comeback in 2023.

We also compete in local cooking competitions, when not in conflict with the rugby season. We have cooked at Yaga’s Galveston Island Shrimp Festival for over 10 years.
